This place tried to scam my wife who was holding our infant trying to get her Nissan inspected. Quoted over $200 for an engine bracket -- not including labor! The worker kept pressuring her to stay and let them do the repairs without showing her what they were going to repair or how much it would cost. When she decided to wait for the full quote, it was well over $1k to fix a crooked headlight, a single engine bracket and a worn control arm bushing. A very shady business who arbitrarily will fail you for inspection and scam you into forking over thousands for basic repairs! Stay away! UPDATE: The engine bracket ended up not being broken. Shirlington Shell station lied. Also, they charged us twice for the $20 non-refundable inspection fee. Total scam!! UPDATE: I was just thinking back to this incident the other day (I’m writing this additional note a year later), and it made me so mad.
